Consultations take place in a relaxed homey environment/atmosphere, not in a regular veterinary setting where medicinal and fear smells can exist and potentially upset your pet. Your animal is free to wander and relax and be her/himself. Toys, rugs, and water are available to make him/her feel at home. An hour and a half is usually scheduled for the first appointment, whether or not it is needed, so there is no feeling of being rushed and we can all focus on the task at hand. Obviously, the charge for the visit is based only upon the time actually utilized, Phone consultations are available for those people who live too far away to reasonably come in for an appointment in person, although it is strongly encouraged to come in for at least one visit, if at all possible, as so much more information can be obtained from seeing the animal. I am available 7 days a week for phone consultations, so you can rest assured that if you have a need to discuss anything, you will have the support you need.
